VILLAGE CLERK

The Village Clerk-Treasurer’s office administers elections, issues municipal licenses, collects tax payments, responds to public records requests, assists with voter registration, oaths of office, prepares agendas for public meetings of the Village Board and other Village bodies and attends the meetings to record minutes of the actions taken by the Village Board, and ensures that meetings are conducted in accordance Wisconsin open public meetings law.

The Village Clerk acts as a liaison between the community and its elected officials, and is responsible for maintaining for permanent record contracts and documents resulting from Board action. The Village Clerk publishes ordinances and updates the Municipal Code book.
