On Thursday, August 16 Mukwonago will be hosting the Mukwonago Economic Summit.
The summit will include:
- Information about new tax reforms that affect TIF districts and the Governor’s newly created opportunity zones by Danielle Bergner, Managing Partner focused on real estate at Michael Best law firm
- The Business Park Puzzle: Methods to plan infrastructure one piece at a time by Ryan Amtmann, Vice President at Ruekert & Mielke
- A panel covering trends in economic and community development with an emphasis on Waukesha and Walworth County with Tim Casey, Director of Economic Development at the Waukesha County Center for Growth; Derek D’Auria, Executive Director at Walworth County Economic Development Alliance; Tina Chitwood, Regional Economic Development Director at Wisconsin Economic Development Corporation; and John Weidl, Village Administrator and Economic Development Director at Village of Mukwonago.
Who should attend: Local and regional elected officials, staff involved in economic development, brokers, investors, businesses considering investing in the future of economic development in southeastern Wisconsin, and other organizations involved in the community or economic development process in southeastern Wisconsin.
